Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a problem focused and goal orientated psychotherapy. This means that we work on the current problems that are affecting you by starting with an assessment to see what you are struggling with and explore your goals for therapy. We will then work in collaboration to look at how I can help you to make changes to your thought patterns and behaviours. We also explore coping mechanisms that will help you to manage the symptoms you are experiencing. The work we complete together will mean that you will break any vicious cycles you are in and improve your mental health and well-being.
